in the beginning
In 2002, Yogoloji was simply an idea but by 2003 the company was trademarked! In 2004 Yogoloji became a partnership and began running retreats from a kitchen table that took clients to Africa, Barbados, France, Italy, Portugal and in the UK. It only took shape as business thanks to the community of excellent dedicated teachers, therapists and willing yogis that surrounded and supported it. The company was created to offer clients a high quality of teaching, service, food, destination and experience and to relay the qualities of yogic philosophy in business practice: celebrating honesty, integrity, commitment, diversity and loyalty. This is still reflected in both the people that work with us and in our clients. In 2006 the one to one agency was established to support retreat goers 're-entry' into reality, with the home visit yoga teachers and therapists, and then in 2008 the partnership was dissolved, leaving the company under sole ownership.
Today, Yogoloji has undergone its' first rebranding! We run 7 retreats a year in Europe, each hosted by extraordinary teachers who have dedicated their lives to sharing the knowledge they have gleaned over the years. We continue to offer one to one yoga as home visit in London, aswell as regionally and abroad. We have been graced over the years with a very varied and loyal client community, of all ages, that continues to benefit time and again from our different teachers and destinations. As a result we are able to continue supporting projects to support the development and education of under privileged children. Thank you. We could not do it without you!
About the founder
Yogoloji was founded by Francesca Quaradeghini in 2003 and has been running successfully as a luxury retreat business and one to one yoga teaching agency ever since. A Trinity College, Cambridge graduate, Francesca left her career as PR Director of Bvlgari UK to travel the world for three years. On her return she set up her dream company, that would allow her to grow her own yogic practice and develop a business that reflected her core values, both social and personal. She has since become an Ayurvedic therapist and Hatha yoga teacher for adults and children/children with Special Needs and is a keen meditator who loves to chant! Her teachers are your teachers on the retreats: having studied with Chris Gladwell, Nigel Gilderson, Jillian Lavender and Nikki Slade while currently being under the tutelage of Yogi Ashokananda.
About the studio
With the steady growth of the business the company required an office and in 2005 54a Ebury Street, London SW1 soon became Yogoloji HQ! In the next two years the studio was to grow and change shape with the requirement of the business, as Yogoloji began a one to one yoga agency which opened in late 2006, pairing teachers and students in London. The 'office' officially became the 'studio' offering yoga, taught on a one to one basis and holistic therapies. Today the studio has just been refurbished and offers Panchakarma, Ayurvedic treatments and holistic therapies ranging from acupuncture to NLP and from shiatsu to sports massage. The studio is under the management of Flora Kasonkomona.
